Bands In Movies

Okay this is random but I always liked seeing a band in a movie. There's just something about it that puts a smile on my face. Okay, I'm lying. I just thought it would be a fun thing to post so here we go with a couple favorites.
First is every one's favorite death metal heroes Cannibal Corpse in Ave Ventura: Pet Detective. A great movie for sure, but the addition of Cannibal Corpse playing "Hammer Smashed Face" makes it that much better. Apparently the reason they were there was because Jim Carrey was a fan of theirs. Crazy.

And then there's Seattle's L7. They played in one of my favorite movies, Serial Mom starring Kathleen Turner. If you haven't seen this film, you're really missing out. Ricki Lake, Traci Lords, and L7!! Well, in the movie they're called Camel Lips, which is actually a better name.

Okay so those are two off the top of my head. If you think of more let me know. I figured this would be a great category for Shade. Does he still write here? Those questions and more will be answered next time, only here at Couldn't Care Less.
