New Deftones Song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been quite awhile since we've heard anything new from the Deftones. Word is that they scrapped the album they were working on before their bass player got into a car accident. However they are working on another album with former Quicksand bassist Sergio Vega filling in. I'm guessing this song "Rocket Skates" is from that as yet untitled album, but who knows. Haven't heard anything about a release date either. The band have been playing some shows, opening for Slipknot (including one here in San Jose that i couldn't go to).
As for the song, I think it's kinda cool. Obviously this isn't the best quality, but it's got a cool sound to it.

Get Well, Chi

So for those that haven't heard, Deftones bassist Chi Cheng was in a car accident over a month ago and has been in a coma ever since. Obviously this is some fucked up shit. The last update from the band said that he was transferred to brain rehab facility. Hopefully he pulls out of this soon. We here at CCL wish him the best. I've seen the Deftones I don't know how many times over the years and they never disappoint. Here's the video for "Mein" from the Deftones last (and criminally underrated) album Saturday Night Wrist.
