He Didn't Say That! Tell Me He Didn't Just Say That!

Who said hockey was boring? Dallas Stars forward Sean Avery made some interesting comments about his ex-girlfriend, actress Elisha Cuthbert. Referencing Cuthbert's new boyfriend, Calgary Flames defenseman Dion Phaneuf he had this to say:



Wow! So what happened in all of this? Well, the NHL has decided to suspend Avery indefinitely. I guess the question would be, Really? Isn't that a little much. I mean sure the guy was being an asshole for saying it, but come on it's sports, you know? The NHL should be happy that people are talking about them right now. Christ, it's not like the guy shot himself in a nightclub. Give the guy a break. He's just being a guy. I mean it's not like anyone gives a shit about hockey.*




*I actually like hockey, but I never really watch it like i used to. Go Sharks.
