Another One Bites The Dust

Another wrestler suddenly passes away. This was a much bigger deal last year after Chris Benoit killed his family. There were supposed to be senate hearings and goverment regulation. Uh yeah, not so much. Chris Bell is the wrestler who died. He wasn't well known, however his brother made a documentary called Bigger, Stronger, Faster about steroids in sports. Chris Bell was supposedly a big part of the movie because of his steroid use. However, when I read the name, it sounded familiar for another reason. Then it hit me that he was the jobber in the ring that Perry Saturn took liberties with and beat the shit out of. I remember hearing about that back in the day. Thankfully there's YouTube and we have that video for you. At about the 2:20 mark, Bell blows an armdrag spot and Saturn tears him apart. Not the greatest way to be remembered, but I'm sure there are worse ways. RIP Mike Bell. By the way, what the fuck ever happened to Perry Saturn?

wow good dark match good to see teri to bad goldust pops up more often than she does...into your top 10 nice to have music to play while loged in about saturn, heres what wikipedia has to say kinda sad..Shooting and Disappearance
In April 2004 he was driving his girlfriend to work in Atlanta and stopped to break up an attempted rape. He was shot three times in the neck during the incident. He had a metal plate in his neck and three stainless steel screws in his C-5, C-6 and C-7 vertebrae.
Saturn claimed he would return to the ring on Sept. 17, 2004 to work a match for Goodman, the promoter of USA Pro Wrestling. Saturn later no-showed the event, claiming the doctors would not clear him to wrestle.

Saturn was originally scheduled to appear at the Hardcore Homecoming card in Philadelphia. He did not appear and refused later bookings, saying he was not medically cleared to wrestle.
Saturn’s non-appearance at the wakes of close friends Kronus, Chris Candido and Killer Kowalski led many to speculate that Saturn was deceased.
Efforts to locate Saturn since 2005 have been unsuccessful.
