It's almost the end of the year and that means it's time for year end lists. I thought I would do a top 10 Album of the year list just for the hell of it. Now some of you may already know what my number #1 may be, however we'll find out for sure in due time. In the latest issue of Decibel, they gave the #1 album spot to Torche's Meanderthal. I was shocked at that, yet can't say it's undeserved. Torche made a great record. Where will it land on my meaningless top 10 list? Who knows and really who cares. I'm probably the only person into it. I'm a big fan of year end magazines, top 10 lists and the like. So I'm challenging the other two writers here at CCL to write up a top 10 list of their choosing before 2008 comes to a close. C'mon let's get our Letterman on, yo. Let's do something fun because this year is almost over, and who knows, maybe someone will actually read it.
In the meantime check out a band who will surely make my top 10 this year: Kataklysm. This is their new video for "Blood In Heaven". This album is what metal is supposed to be. Laters.
