If You Don't Know, Now You Know - Jawbox

I continue my attempt to get somebody to listen to great bands. This would make 3 in a row. What do they all have in common? They're all broken up. But that's okay. Because this music is timeless. Today, we talk about Washington DC's own Jawbox. They were a post hardcore/indie band. For some reason this band always stuck with me through the years. Their album FOR YOUR OWN SPECIAL SWEETHEART is a classic. I recently bought is again, because my only copy was on cassette. Remember the cassette tape? Anyways, that's for another time. For now just enjoy the goodness of Jawbox. Here's the video for their classic song "Savory" which was later covered by my personal favorite band, the Deftones. Also, as a bonus because I think you're so cute, here's "FF=66". Also worth noting that Jawbox does a great cover of Tori Amos' "Cornflake Girl" that's worth checking out. Enjoy and you're welcome.
