If you don't know, now you know - Quicksand

Ok, time for the good. here's a band from NYC that I absolutely LOVED. Like, really will always hold a small place in my heart for. Insane riffs, killer breakdowns, that driving bass, vocals when you didn't expect them. This was a band that did no wrong. Of course they only made two albums, so they didn't have time to fail. Their first album, SLIP was a perfect 10. Their follow up, MANIC COMPRESSION, was a little different, but still had that incredible sound. I haven't heard a band since that sounded anything like them. Mainman Walter Schreifels went on form Rival Schools, who made one album that I actually liked. It looks like their back together however because they're playing the Bottom of the Hill in October. I think me and Slider should go to that. Oh fuck I'm working. Of course. Oh well, enjoy the greatness that is Quicksand.
