What do you eat for breakfast when you have been bitten by a radioactive spider? That's right, Spiderman cereal.

This cereal came out in 1995 before the Spiderman movies hit the big screen. It was a tie-in to the Spiderman cartoon on Fox Kids. I have said it before and I will say it again. This was the best crap cereal I have ever had. Maybe it was because I was a crazy sugar junkie back then. Maybe it is just nostalgia, but I will stand by my conviction. This cereal was crazy awesome. Why? Simple. It was frosted Crsipix (spiderwebs, get it?) with Lucky Charms marshmallows. If you already know of my affinity for marshmallows for breakfast you will understand why I could not get enough of Spiderman. As superhero cereals went, I preferred the spider to the bat.

Ralston, meanwhile, has turned to making crap cereals, but I think they should bring back my man Spidey, or forget the tie-in. I just want my frosted Crispix with marshmallows.
Unfortunately, it was in limited edition, and is now gone. Kellogg's puts out a Spiderman cereal every time a new movie comes out, but it is not the same. They vary from sad Cap'n Crunch rip-offs to sad Trix rip-offs

I just realized General Mills got the last movie tie-in cereal. Hence the change from webs to balls. Not sure what colored balls have to do with Spiderman, but it is a pretty box.
Hungry for more
