A Cub Fan And A Bud Man

So in keeping with the baseball theme today, I figured I'd take a minute to talk about those loveable losers, The Chicago Cubs. They're down 2-0 to the hated L.A. Dodgers right now and things aren't looking good. I basically grew up a Cubs fan because for some ungodly reason we got Chicago's WGN channel with our cable. I always found that odd, but loved it nonetheless. I wasted many an early afternoon watching crappy Cubs games from Wrigley Field. What made those games so fucking great though were that they were called by Harry Carry. He was the best, I don't care what anyone says. I don't think it was a coincidence that he always sounded plastered either. I always looked forward to the 7th inning stretch when he would sing Take Me Out To The Ballgame. I've always wanted to go to Wrigley Field and take in a day game. Hopefully one day that will happen. In the meantime check out some classic Harry Carry moments. Cubs Win! Cubs Win! Holy Cow!
