So some people wouldn't know it by this new crap that he's recording, but Chris Cornell used to be pretty fucking sick. See kids, when I was your age Chris Cornell was singing in a little band called Soundgarden. Oh, those were the days. Crazy guitar, pounding rhythm section, and Cornell screaming like he just shut his dick in his car door. Look, I'm all for artists growing up and evolving and all that, but what Cornell is doing now is beyond selling out. This new song is fucking awful. But lets remember a time when he was the shit, shall we? No, it's not "Spoonman", sorry. How about going all the way back to my favorite Soundgarden album Badmotorfinger. Here's a live clip from France of all places of the band playing "Jesus Christ Pose". Ah the good old days...
