More Wrestling In The Mainstream?

Well, to add something to Shade's post about the Mickey Rourke movie coming out in December, It looks as though HBO is creating a show about a family running a wrestling promotion in the 1970's. It's going to be called Everybody Hurts and will be produced by Norman Lear (pictured), who produced The Jefferson's, All In The Family and a bunch of other shit.. No word on if they plan on using that depressing R.E.M. song for the intro. Slider and I have talked for a few years about how great it would be if there was a wrestling show set in an old school environment. And here we are. In the 70's kayfabe was still around and I'm sure that will be talked about. I have high hopes about it mainly because it's on HBO and those shows are usually of great quality (I'm not a fan of Entourage, but whatever). I also wonder if they will mention old wrestlers names, or if they'll just make everything up. I don't think it matters too much however.I haven't heard when exactly this will air, but I'm sure we'll have it for you way after some other site will.
